The Country Business Development Manager

The Country Business Development Manager will report to the Global Managers in Miami, Florida and London UK. This person will join a very fast-paced start-up environment in one of Cribkeys’s most important, dynamic and high-profile markets. This role has the critical responsibility of ensuring that our listings span every neighbourhood and major city in the region of their responsibility (Jamaica). They will further develop our host network and accelerate the growth of our supply. 

 Responsibilities · 

Overall responsibility for the quantity and quality of our hosts and listings in their region of responsibility
Identify and execute initiatives to grow the number of hosts in the region of responsibility. These initiatives can include partnerships or sales activities ·  
On-board and educate high value hosts at events, webinars or by engaging with them directly over the phone and email · 
Daily activities include: email and phone outreach to prospective hosts; planning ·   
Works with General Manager for the region and local team to identify strategies to grow the market and set priorities to execute on opportunities and develop effective channels to acquire hosts ·  Success will be measure in the increased number of hosts in the region of responsibility and in the successful implementation of host acquisition activities
  • Responsible for discovering, prioritizing and managing all key local marketing initiatives and ensuring consistency between our brand and the stories we tell
  • Responsible for sourcing, designing and negotiating local partnerships
  • Working with global functions to develop integrated, creative, multichannel marketing campaigns that educate, engage, and excite local residents and visitors about travel via CribKeys
  • Coordinates local agency partnerships as needed to successfully scale marketing campaigns and execute larger-scale events in collaboration with HQ based teams
  • Serves as liaison for global brand campaigns that impact the local market, advising on local implementation of market strategies, providing local insights and working with counterparts in other departments
  • Serves as CribKeys's expert on local marketing - Ensures all marketing activities feel local and personal and articulates market nuances for other teams
  • Proactively identifies and executes new business development partnership opportunities to grow our global business and increase local love for all things CribKeys
  • Conceptualizes, develops and executes targeted marketing events that celebrate the best of CribKeys.


Extensive experience (5+ years) in direct sales and business development and preferably in B2C environment

Experience in setting up long term partnerships (B2B) as well as a proven background in Project Management ·
Performance driven attitude, ability to work under pressure and hit monthly goals ·         Strong analytical, planning and forecasting skills; Experience making data-driven recommendations and decisions · 
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up Environment · 
Outstanding communication and presentation skills; able to articulate a vision, strategy or idea clearly and concisely · 
Proven ability to work at both strategic and tactical level - not afraid to dive into detail and execute work as needed ·
Travel (up to 25% of the time)
